Oysters

Today, I tried my first oysters at Drago's Seafood Restaurant in Metairie. To be honest, I was nervous but you only live once, right!? I ordered charbroiled oysters. (I'm a novice, so I decided not to go completely raw just yet.) It's hard to describe the flavor of an oyster: slimy, buttery, and delicious. It was excellent. I also tried several of the shrimp appetizers. The crab cakes and the fleur de lis shrimp fried and covered in spices were particularly good. Drago's was great. I can't wait to go back for more!
